In the beginning Winora produced unique handmade bicycles and it was only in 1956, upon reaching 6000 bicycles sold yearly, that the company moved on to standardized production. At Winora everything revolves around the family.
The company Winora was established in 1914 in Schweinfurt by racing cyclist Engelbert Wiener.
Since 1997 the founder’s great-granddaughter, Susanne Puello is the head of the enterprise. She belongs to the fourth generation of the family designing and building quality bicycles.
From safe and robust children’s models to high-quality cross and tracking Winora strives for excellence in every aspect and little detail.
